In this other shot you can see one of the other projects that he has been working on. He has no wood shop and the garage is literally freezing, so this last part of the project has been in my kitchen for almost a month. Yea, as if I didn't need every inch of counterspace....If you are wondering what you are looking at, it is a box. Of course you can tell that, but now you are wondering...."why is he working on a box?"
It is Kaitlyn's birthday present from him, a very sturdy, designed by dad, box in which she can put her stuff and lock it away from little brother and sisters. Only she and he know the combination to the padlock (I do not want the responsibility of trying to remember one more thing!) so it is beautiful.
It still needs a few topcoats and then I can make cinnamon rolls again.
forgot to mention that we did confirm that each child can fit into the box. We just restrain ourselves from threatening it becuase we are not sure if it would seem like a punishment.....they all had too much fun hiding inside of it:)
